Pig Trotters (2 per Packet)
Pig trotters are packed full of collagen and it is necessary to slow cook trotters for a long time (12 hrs+) to release the gelatinous goodness. Slow cooking will break down the gelatine, which releases the meat from the bone. Trotters are traditionally used when making a terrine.
This product is delivered to you chilled having been freshly prepared just prior to shipping in our on-farm butchery. Your pork will be supplied vacuum packed and labelled with use-by dates and is shipped using Woolcool® insulated packaging and ice packs to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition.
We will contact you when your order is ready for collection or delivery, this will normally be within 2 weeks of your order being placed.
