Pig Trotters (2 per Packet)
Pig trotters are packed full of collagen and it is necessary to slow cook trotters for a long time (12 hrs+) to release the gelatinous goodness. Slow cooking will break down the gelatine, which releases the meat from the bone. Trotters are traditionally used when making a terrine.
Our pork products are supplied frozen as this is the best way to guarantee freshness and is the most efficient way for us to provide you with our fantastic tasty produce. If you would prefer your order to be supplied chilled then please contact us as this can be arranged, although there may be a wait as we only have a small number of pigs and we like them to enjoy longer and happier lives in their woodland home.
